Plastic Injection Molding
Offering custom injection molding of small to medium sized parts including over molding and insert molding, Garner features 19 injection molding presses with capacities from 35 to 310 tons. Nylon, Delrin®, polycarbonate, and polyurethane – as well as specialized resins like Ultem® – are just a few examples of the resins processed routinely.
Garner is experienced at producing many categories of custom molded plastic parts including consumer products, hardware products, automotive parts, and molded plastic parts for the communications, telecom, and electronics industries … among many others. Garner has also worked to the stringent requirements for injection molded aircraft parts, military specification (mil spec) parts, and optical quality molded plastics.
The majority of Garner’s customers have rigorous quality standards and require Statistical Process Control (SPC) and its related documentation. Being an ISO 9001:2000 certified facility, Garner can provide SPC for its customers as a value-added benefit. Garner’s investment in quality is also evident in its fully-automated RAM optical Computer Measuring Machine (CMM) for non-contact measuring of plastic parts. Part dimensional tolerances of +.001" are routinely held – plus 0005" repeatability – which translates into very high quality parts for our customers.
Garner offers flexible schedules and personalized, friendly service, striving to meet all customer requests such as rush orders or a need to increase the size of an order. On-time delivery is a priority at Garner Industries, embracing JIT programs and offering company delivery service or daily deliveries for local customers. Additionally, Garner offers secondary operations such as assembly, packaging and hot stamping for customers who desire a broader range of services from a single vendor.
