Wire EDM
Garner offers 5-axis wire EDM and 4-axis conventional EDM, also known as ram or sinker EDM. Wire and sinker EDM have traditionally been used for producing hardened tool steel mold and die components. 
 


Wire EDM is a good alternative to conventional production machining methods - as well as metal stamping - which require a significant investment in tooling. Flat or thin parts can be stacked so that multiple parts can be produced in one pass. Garner currently supplies several parts that exceed 1,000 pieces per year.
