QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Manager plans, coordinates, and directs the Quality Assurance Program designed to ensure the integration and sustainment of quality programs into manufacturing. This position requires proven experience with ISO 9001:2008 quality systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Promote a positive teaming TQM attitude across all departmental boundaries.
-Provide essential training to company personnel as it relates to the Quality Management System, product and regulatory requirements.
-Coordinating all product approval activities, P.P.A.P.

INJECTION MOLDING SUPERVISOR (3rd Shift)

This position is responsible for supervising employees and ensures that injection molding operations proceed in a precise and uniform manner, meeting company standards. Duties will include training, motivating and reviewing employees, directing work to maintain company goals in quality, efficiency, safety and completing necessary documentation accurately and timely. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, with at least 2-years supervisory experience and 1 to 2 years injection molding experience. Must be able to understand and enforce company policies and procedures, be able to lead by example, have good employee relations skills, knowledge of safety requirements and basic computer skills.

CNC SETUP OPERATOR

Produce machined parts by, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.  

DUTIES
1. Ensure products are in compliance to design specifications and meeting quality expectations
2. Operates all common machine shop equipment and hand tools skillfully
3. Works from prints or drawings to produce a variety of parts
4. Be consistently at or below standard hours for a job with little or no rework
5. Maintains a safe and tidy work environment
6. Dimensionally check parts
7. Make complete and accurate set-ups with minimal assistance
8. Effectively communicate with management in regard to products and machine operation

REQUIREMENTS
Education
- High School diploma or GED required

- 2+ years’ experience with CNC machining equipment preferred
- Knowledge setting up and tearing down tooling required
- Experience with machine feeds and speeds preferred
Skills
- Full understanding of standard measuring tools; micrometers, calipers, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read, comprehend and effectively communicate the English language
- Read and understand engineering drawings and geometric tolerance

SUMMARY
Responsible for producing quality products in compliance with product designs and specifications achieving 3 P1’s (Priority One’s):  Productivity, Quality, and Safety 

DUTIES
1. Ensure products are in compliance to design specifications and meeting quality expectations
2. Operate injection molding press
3. Effectively communicate with management in regard to products and press operation
4. Ability to operate one or more molding press
5. Maintain quality and production documentation
6. Maintain a neat and orderly work station
7. Meet product part specification by trimming gates, excessive flash or any other secondary operation necessary to meet or exceed customer specifications
8. Weigh and/or count finished product; determine finished part count
9. Prepare and package product for shipping per company guidelines
10. Maintain molding machine by performing regular maintenance
11. Responsible for grinder and blender operationss
12. Other duties as assigned
